We are back to winter ... with just two weeks or so now until spring. No more back-breaking raking today. But is this really what I was welcoming last week?
The snow erases all the flaws of the early spring landscape and provides cover for the emerging bulbs, but it also brings a chill to the spirit.
Giving me a little respite from yard work for now, the snow will not be long for this world; but meanwhile, I'm keeping those Uggs handy by the garage door.
I escaped a whole month of winter this year and really cannot complain about this fresh blanket of gorgeous winter white!
